Kensington Estates is a luxury residential community in Aliso Viejo, California that is set in a rural neighborhood but is close to stores, restaurants, services, and recreation.
Kensington Estates is comprised of 154 estates and was built by Richmond American Homes. Living space varies from 2,800 to 4,000 square feet with several floor plans to choose from. There is not a community pool but residents have easy access to Westridge Park which offers walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas. There are also several parks and trails throughout this region.
This neighborhood is great for commuters with the Toll Road and 73 freeway access nearby. There are employment opportunities in Aliso Viejo as well as outer lying cities like Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach. The largest local employers include the United Parcel Service, Pacific Life, the Capistrano Unified School District, Fluor, and Quest Software.
Residents at Kensington Estates have a short drive to resort towns and the beach. In the heart of the city is the Aliso Viejo Town center which offers many casual restaurants as well as stores like PetSmart, Ralph’s Supermarket, and Barnes & Noble. There is a movie theater and the Grand Park which is host to many events and concerts.
Students in this area can attend one of several private schools in Aliso Viejo or one of the excellent public facilities that are offered by the local school district. There are highly ranked schools such as Canyon Vista Elementary, Don Juan Avila Middle School, and Aliso Niguel High School. This is also the home of Soka University, a four year liberal arts school that is set on 103 acres with 18 buildings. The Soka Performing Arts Center seats 1,000 guests and the acoustics for its concert hall was designed by Yasuhisa Toyota who was also responsible for the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
